The August 2021 VLE encountered some hiccups due to the prevailing quarantine protocols and mobility restrictions. The licensure examination was conducted from August 4-6, 2021 in the cities of Baguio, Tuguegarao, Legazpi, Cebu, and Koronadal. However, due to the implementation of ECQ in NCR, the schedule of exams in the Manila testing center was moved to September 2, 2021. The results were released four (4) working days after the last exam date held in Manila.
In the previous February 2021 VLE, CLSU took the limelight when Dr. Jerard Rayala placed the Top 1. This time, the spot was taken by the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
With total passers of 62, CLSU has regained its record of producing the most number of licensed veterinarians among the 21 veterinary schools in the country.
Once again, the CLSU passing rate of 50.41% is higher than the national passing rate of 38.33%.
