Lynell M. Alejandro is an instructor at the Department of Development Communication, College of Arts and Social Sciences. She studied Bachelor of Science in Development Communication at Central Luzon State University. She handles course offerings on communication. Her research interests include culture and communication, digital and social network studies, gender and communication, and global and comparative communication.

Andrea May C. Malonzo

Instructor I

Andrea May C. Malonzo is an Instructor I at the Department of Development Communication. Before joining the academe, she served the university as a media production specialist and focal person of the Applied Communication Division of the RET-Extension Office. Her work mainly involved packaging technologies of the university into various information, education, and communication (IEC) materials and producing media and promotional materials of the university. She earned both her Masteral and Bachelors’s degrees in Development Communication at the Central Luzon State University. She is currently taking up her Doctorate in Development Communication at the University of the Philippines – Los Baños.  Her research interests include participatory communication, multi-media production, and design, agricultural extension, and community development.

Maria Adrielle S. Estigoy

Maria Adrielle S. Estigoy is a faculty researcher teaching Development Communication to college students. Aside from teaching, she is currently designated as Executive Secretary to the Research and Extension Program of CLSU, and Knowledge Management (KM) Cluster Coordinator of the Central Luzon Agriculture, Aquatic, and Resources Research and Development Consortium (CLAARRDEC). She earned her master’s degree in Corporate Communication at the Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia, and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts at St. Louis University, Baguio City. She specializes in communication campaigns, broadcasting, corporate and strategic communications, and KM. Before entering the academe, she worked at the Philippine Rice Research Institute. She handled major communication campaigns such as the Be RICEponsible Campaign (2014), Gusto ko Milyonaryo Ka: a Rural transformation Movement (2014), National Year of Rice (2013), Palay, Bigas, Kanin, Wag Sayangin (2011), Save Rice, Save Lives Movement (2010), and Boo, Boo Rat, Palay Mo’y Ligtas 24 Oras (2008).

Chrysl Avegeil N. Vallejo

Associate Professor I

Chrysl Avegeil N. Vallejo is an Associate Professor 1 at the Department of Development Communication. She earned her Ph.D. in Development Communication at the University of the Philippines, Los Banos, Laguna. As an Associate Professor, she is also involved in research, extension, and training activities. Her research interests include organizational communication, rural communication, broadcasting, communication in development. Her most recent involvement in research is a project under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) III entitled “Pinusuan ko na, share ko pa: Promotion of DOST Technologies Through Digital Platforms,” where she serves as the Project Leader. She also participated in the Citizen Satisfaction Index national level research of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) as field supervisor during the conduct of the research. Moreover, on the extension and training aspect, she is also a Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) accredited radio broadcaster who uses radio as a medium to communicate developmental information in the rural areas.

Darwin G. Dela Cruz

Darwin G. Dela Cruz is a young researcher under the University Research Center (URC) and an affiliate faculty of the Department of Development Communication, College of Arts and Social Sciences, Central Luzon State University (CLSU). He finished his Bachelor’s degree in Development Communication in 2015 at CLSU. Before joining the academe, he served as a Science Research Assistant at Central Luzon Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development Consortium (CLAARRDEC), in which he was involved in packaging various communication materials and facilitating different events on technology promotion and transfer. Currently, he is involved in different research projects under the CLSU-GIA, GAD, and DOST-PCAARRD, in which he serves as study leader, project leader, and project staff, respectively. His research interests include communication in development, technology promotion and adoption, broadcasting, and community engagement studies.

Jocelyn R. Dollente

Jocelyn R. Dollente is an associate professor of the Department of Development Communication, College of Arts and Social Sciences. She is currently the College GAD Focal Person. She finished her BS in Agricultural Engineering (1983), MS in Development Communication (1992), and Ph.D. in Development Communication (2007) in Central Luzon State University.  She teaches in undergraduate and graduate regular programs as well as in DOTUni.  She has engaged in research and extension programs and paper publication.  She has been a media practitioner and community organizer in various government and non-government organizations for long years.

Luz Abad-Jove

Associate Professor V

Luz Abad-Jove holds an Associate Professor V position and does teaching,  research, and administrative-related functions. She obtained from Central Luzon State University both her Master of Science (Development Communication) and Bachelor of Science (Agriculture-Agricultural Economics) degrees.  She has been teaching purposive communication, science communication, communication research, and development journalism at the undergraduate level. Also, she handles development communication subjects for  MS Development Communication and MS Rural Development students. Her research interest focuses on project evaluation/assessment, technology diffusion/adoption, communication and gender, and science communication. Additionally, she assumes the following designations: Secretary to the University Research Center (URC), Gender and Development Focal Person at URC, Member of the University NBC 461 Evaluation Committee, and Member of the Syllabus Review Committee. Associate Professor Jove is a  licensed agriculturist.

Marjorie N. Manlulu

Assistant Professor I

Marjorie F. Naguimbing-Manlulu is an Assistant Professor I at the Department of Development Communication. She earned her Master of Development Communication degree at the University of the Philippines Open University and her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She was also a Philippine Daily Inquirer scholar and intern. She spent a year at the International Christian University, Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan as an exchange student. Her research interests are climate change and science communication, development journalism, gender, media, media, and culture studies.  She is the founding adviser of the CLSU-Society for the Advancement of Japanese Arts and Culture.  Currently, she is the managing editor of the CLSU International Journal of Science and Technology.

Parsons N. Hail

Associate Professor I

equitable growth and sustainable development.

He finished his Ph.D. in Development Communication with a minor in Strategic Planning and Policy Studies at the University of the Philippines Los Baños in 2020 under the K-12 Scholarship Grant and CLSU Faculty Development Program, while his Master of Science in Development Communication at Central Luzon State University in 2015, and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Lyceum-Northwestern University in 2004. His research interests and expertise include the field of development communication, broadcast media studies and advertising, rural development and communication, and public policy studies.

Prior to joining the academe in CLSU, he has worked with ABS-CBN Corporation in the regional network group for six years as a Program Sales Consultant for Television and Radio, and three years as a General Subject Instructor at the AMA Education System in Pangasinan. He is currently an Associate Professor 1 at the Department of Development Communication, College of Arts and Social Sciences, CLSU. He currently serves as head of the Linkages and Intercultural Exchange Unit of CLSU-International Affairs Office and as Station Manager of Radyo CLSU, DWFA 107.3 FM.
