CLSU ROTC Unit recognized as 7ID Best ROTC Unit
In the face of the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 Pandemic, the CLSU-ROTC Unit Training Staff utilized their creativity and innovativeness to make sure that the students who opted to take ROTC receive and feel the authenticity of the ROTC class/course even during the flexible learning set-up. All their hard work paid off especially that the CLSU Unit received the BEST ROTC UNIT in the 7ID.
Out of 33 ROTC units in the region, the CLSU ROTC Unit and the ROTC Unit of Bulacan State University (BulSU) vied for the title BEST ROTC UNIT in Region III. Both units have undergone panel interview via Zoom last July 12, 2021.
The winner from Region III will then compete with the best ROTC Unit from Region I since the Seventh Infantry Division (7ID) covers both Region I and Region III.
On August 21, 2021, the office of the 3rd Regional Community Defense Group, ARESCOM at Camp Gen. Servillano Aquino, San Miguel, Tarlac City, sent the CLSU ROTC Unit an e-copy of the Certificate of Commendation and a sash declaring CLSU-ROTC Unit as the Best ROTC Unit of 7ID in 2021.

* Unit’s participation in the tree planting activity for graduating students before the lockdown.
* Provided Color Bearers, Wreath Bearers and Vigil during Death Anniversary of Mr. Vivencio Saulong and other World War II Unknown Student Heroes
* Provided Entrance and Exit of Colors during the CLSU Alumni Association, Inc. Grand Homecoming
* Provided Entrance and Exit of Colors during the College of Education Recognition Program and Tribute to Parents.
* Provided Marshalls during the Tea Party and Recognition Program.
* Provided Marshalls, Entrance and Exit of Colors during the 29th Mid-Year Commencement Exercises
* Actively participated during the CLSU-NSTP General Orientation held last November 7, 2020 through FB Live.
* Conducted a clean-up activity at the NSTP Bldg. and its vicinity.
* Election (Online voting) of CLSU-ROTC Unit Class 2020-2021 Officers.
* Class/Batch Logo Making Contest.
* Provide services for a video-shoot for the CLSU Graduation Ceremonies.

* “Clash of the Cadets”: A Quiz Bee for Basic Cadets
* The “CLSU-ROTC Unit Tree Planting Activity 2021”.
* Turning over of Batch 2021 donation to the CLSU-ROTC unit.
* A video competition was launched featuring the basic skills in facing, marching and hand salute.
* Publications: Issues of The CLSU-ROTC Unit Chronicles, the newsletter of the unit, manned by eleven basic cadets as chroniclers, were released and posted in all ROTC Google Classrooms.

* Provided Marshalls and Color Bearers during the 7th Uhay Grand Parade at Science City of Munoz, Nueva Ecija.
