Dr. Renato G. Reyes, Vice President for Academic Affairs of Central Luzon State University has been recognized as 2021 Outstanding Filipino fellow in agriculture by the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) Alumni Association Philippines.
Central Luzon State University GAD researchers topped in all categories during the 3rd National Gender and Development Research Congress with the theme “Gender-Transformative Research and Development towards COVID-19 Resilient Philippines,” held on November 18 – 19, 2021 via Zoom Conference and live streamed at the CLSU Gender and Development Office Official Facebook Page.
Dr. Baby Jean VC. Jose, faculty member from the College of Arts and Social Sciences, bagged Best Research Paper for her study, “Ang D.A.N.A.S ng Panagkuripot: Marangyang “Padas Iti Biag”Ng Mga Ilokanang OFW ng Isabela Ng/Sa Singapore,” and 3rd Best Poster for her entry, “Ako, Si Inang At Si Apong”: Pagsipat Sa Tatlong Henerasyon ng Babaeng Magsasaka/Manananim sa Isabela,” with her co-author Dr. Julievic Palting from Philippine Normal University – North Luzon. She was also awarded as the Best in Oral Presentation for both research and poster categories.

The Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management, College of Science, Central Luzon State University conducted a Simultaneous Earthquake Drill on November 11, 2021, 9:00AM in-line with the Fourth Quarter Online Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) led by the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) through the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) NDRRMC Civil Defense PH. The Central Luzon State University (CLSU) successfully produced 17 new Fisheries professionals from the recently concluded Fisheries Technologist Licensure Examinations (FTLEs) on October 6-7, 2021. Joining the rank of topnotchers was Mr. Eric J. Morales who aced the Top 10 spot with rating of 82.50%. CLSU posted a passing rate of 47.20% which is above the national passing rate of 29.50%. In addition, CLSU ranked second among schools having 20 or more examinees.
A graduate of Central Luzon State University (CLSU) emerged as topnotcher in the Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) Licensure Examination, administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on September 29-30, 2021 in various testing centers nationwide. Graduated cum laude in BSABE program in March 2021, Engr. Abdullah Peralta Meriales ranked third in the board examination with a rating 82.64 percent. Forty-eight CLSU graduates joined him in the list of successful takers of the exam, yielding an institutional passing rate of 44.95 percent.
